Missionary Example

It is true that everyone needs to be actively engaged in missionary work, but there may be as many different approaches to missionary work as there are individuals, personal styles, circumstances, and inspiration. Living the gospel and helping to spread it to others should be joyful. And when we find out what the Church really expects—that we don’t all have to be aggressive proselytizers—being a missionary will not seem such a scary thing. Suddenly we may begin to see how we, individually, can be actively involved.

As Taylor and I were sitting with Grandpa and Grandma yesterday a young boy 12 years old came in with his Father. They use to live in Morgan just down the street from Grandpa and Grandma, they were not active in the Church but Grandpa found a way to slowly... introduce the Church back into his life as well as his families life. By being a friend and showing he cared this family became active. They moved out of Morgan a while back for a new job in Kamas, this young boy and his Father stopped by to invite Dad and Mom to Kamas to help ordain this young boy a deacon. His Father has been put in the Bishopric in Kamas, thanks to the love of Dad (Grandpa) he is not afraid to share what he knows is true. Dad and Mom have always been involved in Missionary work from the beginning of their marriage.

Thanks again for the good example Dad and Mom.
